If you don’t care about fashion, you should. We’re going to tell it like it is, because women care about clothes, and that’s what matters when you’re trying to hook up with them. You don’t have to become Zoolander, but you do have to be aware of how women are going to interpret the way you dress. If you’ve ever dated a woman, you already know – they notice everything, right down to your shoes. You don’t have to go out and blow a bunch of money on designer clothes, though. Take our advice for how to add a little flare to your closet on a budget.
Your Best Feature for the Best Fit
Every guy has a feature he’s proud of, whether it’s from working out or the fact that women consistently compliment your eyes. Whatever you feel your strongest selling point is to the ladies, you should play it up. When you’re trying to decide what to invest in – a nice pair of jeans, shoes, or shirt – choose what you want to emphasize. Don’t try to spread your cash around on multiple items. If you’re really proud of all the time you’ve spent perfecting your abs, for example, find a shirt that looks awesome, and buy it even if it’s expensive. The point is to not spread your funds thin, and instead, invest in one, strong item.
New Or Repair?
There’s something to be said for getting things repaired. If you’re the type of man who likes to buy high end clothes, and really make investments, then you probably don’t want to part with your purchases unless necessary. The thing is, you don’t have to at all. You shouldn’t have to go shopping once a year to replace all the crappy stuff you bought the year before. Instead, you should invest in quality clothing to begin with, and then pay for repairs. For example, if you own a pair of shoes you really like, but the soles are coming off, don’t buy a new pair of shoes. Go out and get a cobbler to fix them. It may sound like the 19th century, but it works, and it’s cheaper than buying a whole new wardrobe.
